01 Dhoop Sticks

Place

Set the dhoop stick upright in a heat-resistant holder on a stable surface.

Light

Hold the flame to the tip for a few seconds until it catches fully.

Release

Gently blow out the flame. A thin, steady curl of smoke should rise.

Surrender

Let the fragrance settle before you begin your prayer or meditation.

02 Dhoop Cones

Place

Set the cone on a heat-resistant holder with the tip facing up.

Light

Touch the flame to the tip for a few seconds until it begins to glow.
iii

Release

Blow out the flame gently. The cone will smolder inward, releasing fragrance slowly.

Allow

Let the cone burn completely. It needs no attention once lit.

03 Bheemseni Kapoor
